The 5th Asian Congress in Nursing Education was held on November 24-25, 2023, at the Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia. 

The congress's main theme was "Cultivating quality in nursing education for global health." 

304 people from 19 different countries participated in the congress. These countries are as follows: Turkey, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Iran, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Oman, United States of America, Ireland, Australia, Germany, and Rwanda. Congress participants included nurses, academicians, nurse educators, nurse managers, association directors, and undergraduate and graduate nursing students.

The "Simulation Practices in Nursing Education" course and a simulation center side tour were planned before the congress, on November 23, 2023. The course was organized in cooperation with Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, Center of Advanced Medical Simulation and Education (CASE).

The congress participants had the opportunity to collaborate and network with participants from all over the world, as well as discuss how we can improve quality for global health in the field of nursing education and learn from best practices. In addition, they discussed evidence-based practices and legal and ethical issues in nursing education.
