Summary of the Conference:
The 1st ACiNE was a three-day conference. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand was invited by the President Rajata Rajatanavin of Mahidol University during the opening ceremony of the 1st ACiNE. One of the objectives of the congress was to honor Dr. Tassana Boontong for her great contributions to nursing education in Thailand and Asia. The conference addressed the transformative nursing education, information and expertise in preparing for future nurses to human health, healthcare system, and workforce needs. Nursing leaders from worldwide, including Professor Afaf Meleis, President Rajata Rajatanavin, Professor Kathleen Potempa, Dr. Sally Wai-Chi Chan, gave remarkable keynote speeches.
